In the 21st century, video has become one of the main ways we communicate information to one another, and chances are good that if your students want to learn something new, one of the first places they will go is to YouTube to see if there is a video about it. In the classroom, video can be a powerful tool. Making videos allows students (or teachers) to be creative, to tell stories, to share their passions, to explore questions, and to communicate information in their own voice. In this session, we will discuss the various applications of video in the classroom, see examples of videos created by students, and explore a variety of tools that teachers and students can use to create and share their own videos from an iPad.
*Please bring a laptop, and an iPad with some/all of these apps installed: iMovie, Clips, Adobe Spark Video, Explain Everything Collaborative Whiteboard
