Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

With scores of websites and social media sources pretending to be something they are not, studies show our students are making poor decisions about credibility and reliability.

Teaching evaluation of information has never been so critical because the landscape has drastically changed. Learn new skills as you strap on your truth-teaching toolkit to help your students tackle the difficult terrain of websites, identifying "fake" sites, using social media and images to find out what is real, relevant and factual. Gain skills to discern bias, learn to be suspicious, find ways to sort evidence and even explore arguments and develop news literacy toolkits of your own.

We’ll explore tons of resources and techniques so you can power up and practice up your media literacy prowess aimed to nurture our students. We can help them to become information literate, responsible, critical and savvy citizens in this ever-changing world.

Join us for this fast-paced, thought-provoking workshop.
